A Thai man died after falling from the third floor of Terminal 2 at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport on April 4.
According to a report from the airport authorities, security cameras in the area showed that the man climbed on the railing of the terminal's third floor and jumped to the ground floor at 1:25 pm on April 4. He was badly hurt and was rushed to a local hospital.
Doctors at the Bac Thang Long Hospital said that the man had already died before reaching the hospital. His body was kept at the hospital.
Initial investigations showed that the man's name is Chinkulprasert Pongsak, 43, of Thai nationality. He arrived at the airport on the BKK-HAN flight which landed at 8.33 pm on April 3.
The airport police are investigating the case.
