Two people have been injured when a passenger bus was attacked by people throwing stones on a road in Di Linh District in the central highlands province of Lam Dong.
The incident occurred at around midnight on Friday when a bus of Thanh Buoi Company was running from Da Lat City to HCM City.
According to driver Nguyen Boi Nghia, two young men on a motorbike threw the stones at the bus. Many windows were broken and two passengers were injured.
"The two men then sped up and drove away when we stopped," said the bus driver.
Another passenger bus and a truck also reported to local police about being attacked by people throwing stones on early Friday morning.
Driver Tran Quoc Phuong of Hung Phuc passenger bus also reported that his bus was damaged by two young men and one passenger was hurt.
A truck driver, Tran Van Nga, said that his windows were broken by two young men throwing stones.
According to police in Di Linh District, the same situation happened in this area once in last July when many passengers were hurt by a group of local men throwing stones to a running bus.
"We prosecuted and jailed two young men at that time," a local police official said.
