The East Asia Inter-regional Tourism Forum 2010 (EATOF) will take place from September 13-17 in the international tourism resort of Tuan Chau of the northern province of Quang Ninh.
EATOF 2010 is an opportunity for the host province to promote its tourism, expand business, investment and cooperation with countries in East Asia in particular and throughout the world in general.
The forum’s main activities include the opening ceremony and art performances, travel fairs, mayors’ meetings, tourism conferences, and others.
EATOF was established in 1999 in the Republic of Korea with the membership of different provinces of East Asian countries. Vietnam’s Quang Ninh was the forum’s observer in 2004 and officially joined it in 2006.
