According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, between the evening of September 15 and September 17, northern mountainous and midland areas would have rain with strong wind and rainfall of between 50-150mm. Some areas would witness rainfall of over 200 mm.

The northern and central regions of Vietnam have been forecasted to experience a wet spell over the coming days
Flash floods, landslides and thunderstorms would also occur during the rain, particularly in mountainous localities.
The northern region would continue facing rain between September 19-21. Meanwhile, the rainy weather would ravage the northern central region on September 20-23.
The rain with strong wind would happen in localities from Danang to Binh Thuan, the Central Highlands region and the southern region some days to come.
