Drones will operate from 3 pm on February 16 until 2 am on February 17, covering the midnight countdown.
The devices will focus on key areas considered at high risk for illegal firecracker activity.
Footage captured by the drones will be used as evidence in handling violations and incidents affecting public order, police added.
