Police in Thu Duc City on October 9 issued a fine of VND8.50 million against model Ngoc Trinh for two traffic violations.
The fines came after videos posted on social media on October 8 showed Ngoc Trinh lying on the saddle while riding a large displacement motorbike on the road in Thu Thiem Ward, Thu Duc City.
The model also continued to show off on the bike before falling off and injuring her leg and arm. She was then taken to the hospital for stitches.
It was unclear when the motorbike performance was made but Ngoc Trinh was summoned by the police after the clips were posted on her social media in which she also shared her love for riding large displacement motorcycles.
Police arrived at Ngoc Trinh’s house on October 9 and issued a fine of VND8.50 million for her violations.
Trinh failed to show a motorbike driving licence.
The police also confiscated two motorcycles used in the clips.
Ngoc Trinh, 34, is a model and actress living in Thu Duc City.
