Tuan asked concerned units to co-operate with the Airports Corporation of Vietnam and the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to complete the handover of land.
The Ministry of Transport has demanded monthly reports before the 5th of every month. The ministry has asked for the project’s pace to be maintained in order to ensure the first flights take place in September 2025.
The USD4.6 billion Long Thanh International Airport in the southern province of Dong Nai is expected to transport 25 million passengers per year.
