The delegation included Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, State President Truong Tan Sang, PM Nguyen Tan Dung, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan, among others.
The Party and State leaders expressed their deep gratitude for the great services rendered by late President Ho Chi Minh in the national revolutionary cause.
Later, they laid a wreath at the monument to Vietnamese martyrs who laid down their lives for the independence and freedom of the nation.
Also in the morning, delegations from the Ministries of Defense, Public Security and mass organizations in the capital city also paid floral tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh.
