On December 18, Tan Hung Ward Police said officers had applied AI-powered cameras to assist a female tourist holding Australian nationality who lost her mobile phone while travelling in Vietnam.
After receiving the report, police quickly reviewed and extracted data from the AI camera system in the area, allowing them to identify the location of the lost iPhone.
According to officers, the phone was found within just 10 minutes and returned directly to the tourist.
After receiving her phone, the visitor expressed her delight and praised the professionalism and dedication of Tan Hung Ward Police. She said the incident further strengthened her impression of Vietnam as a safe, friendly and reliable destination.
