Hanoi's Department of Construction has announced plans to receive applications for the purchase and lease purchase of social housing units at several projects across the capital from late June to mid August.

The latest offering includes apartments at the Phu Lam Social Housing Project, Hope Residences, Uy No Social Housing Project and the social housing development within the Thanh Lam-Dai Thinh 2 New Urban Area.
Among the projects, the Phu Lam Social Housing Project, developed by Hai Phat Investment JSC, offers the lowest selling price at approximately VND 13.62 million per square metre, excluding VAT and maintenance fees. The development comprises five 18 storey buildings with a total of 1,534 apartments.
At Hope Residences in Phuc Loi Ward, the developer is accepting applications for 45 apartments priced at more than VND 16 million per square metre, including VAT but excluding maintenance fees. Developed by Phuc Dong Housing Development JSC, the project consists of five 21 storey towers and two basement levels with more than 1,500 apartments.
The most notable project is the social housing development in the Thanh Lam-Dai Thinh 2 New Urban Area in Quang Minh Commune, where several apartments are priced below VND 1 billion (approximately USD 38,000).
Developer Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUD) is offering units ranging from 56 square metres to 68 square metres at approximately VND 14.6 million per square metre. Based on this pricing, the smallest apartment costs around VND 820 million (approximately USD 31,000), while the largest is priced at nearly VND 1 billion (approximately USD 38,000).
Meanwhile, the Uy No Social Housing Project in Dong Anh Commune, developed by Corporation 319 under Vietnam's Ministry of National Defence, has only one lease purchase apartment available in this sales round.
The apartment has a floor area of 60.6 square metres. The average selling price is listed at VND 20.62 million per square metre, while the lease purchase rate is approximately VND 288,500 per square metre per month.
