A school in Huong Khe District is flooded on September 26.
According to Phan Quoc Thanh, head of Huong Khe District’s Department of Education and Training, of the total, 2,458 are from nursery schools, 842 are from primary schools and 1,018 are from secondary schools.
The communes of Huong Do, Huong Lam, Huong Trach, Phuc Trach and Huong Trach have been affected the most.
Teachers of the schools have moved teaching and learning equipment to safe places.
From 11 pm on September 24 to 6 am today, September 26, the total rainfall was measured at Huong Khe Town at 215.7mm.
Meanwhile, 22 villages in the central province of Quang Binh were also isolated by heavy rains, concentrating on the districts of Minh Hoa, Bo Trach and Quang Ninh.
Many local roads were flooded, including national highways 9B and 15B.
