Ha Nam Environmental Police Department found that Vu Bang Textile Garment Company in Hoa Hau Commune, Ly Nhan District was discharging untreated wastewater into the Chau Giang River through a plastic pipe on April 18.
Earlier on April 18, Ha Nam Environmental Police Department found that Vu Bang Textile Garment Company in Hoa Hau Commune, Ly Nhan District was discharging untreated wastewater into the Chau Giang River through a plastic pipe.
The pipe which was 1.40 kilometres in length and 63mm in diameter was placed under some canals and buried under some rice fields and a cemetery before ending at the Chau Giang River.
Police seize the pipe.
Police seized the pipe for an investigation before issuing the fine on the company.
Vu Bang Textile Garment Company has also been asked to fix the pollution caused by their illegal discharge.
