After just 10 hours, workers managed to repair and put back into operation the floating bridge which wreaked havoc earlier in the day.

The bridge on Duong River has been reconnected and is now open again for traffic.
According to news from the Vietnam People\'s Army Sapper Service under the Ministry of Defense, Duong floating bridge was repaired and put back into use at 4 pm. Under the direction of military engineers, each vehicle crossing the bridge has made it safely to the other side with no problems.
Major Nguyen Van Chuyen, Deputy Commander of the 249th Sapper Brigade said, “The bridge’s repair encountered a number of difficulties due to heavy rain, strong currents and the rising water levels of Duong River. However, with determination, we were able to complete the work in a timely and efficient manner, restoring traffic flow across the river.”
