The allegedly dead trees whose scientific name is Bischofia Javanica Blume are worth VND2.5 billion (USD106,473). They were planted on the extension section of the Huynh Thuc Khang Street.
The trees on Huynh Thuc Khang Street to be removed
Since being planted on the street early this year, the trees seem to have failed to adapt to their new surroundings. Environmental workers are removing around 40 trees on the street.
According to the Dong Da management board of construction investment projects, they have asked the contractor of Huynh Thuc Khang Street project to replace these trees.
Trees were also found dead in some streets in Hanoi, including Nguyen Chi Thanh and Tran Duy Hung.
