Danang plagued by monkey incidents

A monkey from Son Tra Peninsula in the central city of Danang has troubled local households and even attacked children.

A monkey from Son Tra Peninsula in the central city of Danang has troubled local households and even attacked children.

The monkey entered the homes of families on Hoang Quoc Viet and Bui Lam Streets in Nai Hien Dong Ward which is around 10 kilometres from Son Tra Mountain to take food and threatened their children.

The monkey was caught to be released into the forest again

After great efforts, the district’s forest protection forces successfully caught the animal.

This morning, September 9, the monkey was released into the wild.

People have been asked not to feed wild animals, including monkeys, to help the animals preserve their natural instincts for survival.
