Tran Van Anh, chairman of Tan Thanh Commune People's Committee in Tho Xuan District, said that on November 11, a group of workers building a local road discovered the bomb at around 10 am.
The bomb is around one metre long
The Tan Thanh Commune People's Committee quickly reported the incident to the district authorities. The military cordoned off the area to ensure safety.
The bomb is around one metre long and weighs 130 kilogrammes, but its type has yet to be determined.
In April last year, two MK82 bombs were also found in a garden in Thuong Xuan District.
