Ho Chi Minh City to host international martial arts festival
The festival will include martial arts delegations nationwide as well as international teams from Thailand, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, and the Philippines.
The festival aims to honour cultural values and the quintessence of the Vietnamese martial arts Vovinam, along with promoting traditional martial arts of many foreign countries such as Taekwondo, Karate, and Muay Thai to visitors.
It will also provide a platform in which athletes can compete and for the broader martial arts community to share knowledge whilst enhancing their skills.
The event is scheduled to last through to December 23.
