In a decision signed by the chairman of Thua Thien - Hue People's Committee, the investor of the Bo River Hydropower Plant was fined VND30 million for not having saved the files on their project's completion and VND180 million for having put their project into operation without permission by authorised agencies.
The investor has also been required to gather and submit files and documents related to the project, carry out procedures on the completion, acceptance and transfer of the project before putting it into use, as well as hand in all the money collected from their illegal power generation to the province's budget.
The Song Bo River Hydropower Plant was built in A Luoi District with a total capacity of 20 MW and an expected annual output of 68.70 million KWh. The project started construction in February 2018 and was completed in October 2020.
