The long crack has been discovered on a hill in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong's Bao Lam District.
A resident of Loc Tan Commune discovered the crack, which is dozens of metres long and 1.5 metres wide in some spots.

Several locations at the foot of the hill have faced subsidence and landslides. Local authorities have placed warning signs about the risk of landslides and asked people to temporarily relocate to ensure safety.
At the foot of the hill are roads, tea plantations, and two locals' houses.
An 80-metre-long crack was found on a hill in Lam Dong's Duc Trong District. It extends 1-2 metres deep into the ground in certain areas. Vulnerable households have been relocated.
Meanwhile, Kha Pham Mountain in Quang Son District in the northern central province of Thanh Hoa is struggling with landslides, threatening many households. Thanh Hoa authorities have declared a state of emergency and are urgently taking measures to deal with the issue.
