As a result, more than 300 households in the village have been isolated.

According to Le Huu Hung, chairman of Kim Tan Commune, local authorities have arranged guards in the flooded areas to prevent residents from entering.

According to Hung, this area is low-lying and usually faces severe flooding during heavy rain. Local authorities have proposed building a bridge to ensure residents' safety, but this has remained on paper due to the modest funding.

The central and Central Highlands regions of Vietnam experienced heavy rains on November 11-12 due to the impact of Storm Toraji.

On Tuesday evening, dozens of houses were damaged and many trees uprooted after a whirlwind swept through the central province of Quang Ngai's Duc Pho Town. More than 100 other houses in the area were also flooded due to heavy rain.
