Le Nhu Quynh, 29, from the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau said that after buying the concert ticket, she immediately looked for a hotel room near My Dinh National Stadium at the price of VND500,000-1 million (USD21.27-42.55) per night.

Thuy Duong, 27, from HCM City found it quite hard to find a suitable hotel room near the stadium. She contacted many hotels, but seven said that they were mostly fully booked.

According to a representative from Western Skyline Hotel, the event has helped local 3-4 star hotels to attract guests. The hotel has 43 rooms and 90 percent of its rooms have been booked for July 29.

Le Kim Thu from Eastin Hotel & Residences said that most of the people who have booked rooms for the concert are from southern Vietnam and foreigners mainly from Thailand and Singapore.

Many hotels have launched attractive promotions, including free breakfast and washing and ironing services. Customers will also be given Blackpink branded t-shirts.

Scam discount vouchers for the concert have been sold on social media. Hotel representatives have warned people of the problem.

My Dinh has the Grand Plaza, JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi, InterContinental Hanoi Landmark 72 and Hyatt Regency West Hanoi with rooms available for VND3-10 million per night.
