Binh Dinh faces flooding, landslides due to torrential rain

Many areas in An Lao District, located in the southern central province of Binh Dinh, have been hit by severe flooding and landslides due to prolonged torrential rains.

On November 5-6, An Lao District was hit by heavy rains, with the highest recorded rainfall of 184.4 mm in An Nghia Commune

A total of 12 locations in the commune have been submerged, while some areas in An Nghia have experienced landslides. A family of four has been relocated to ensure their safety.

Landslides have occurred on some roads in An Nghia, An Quang and An Toan communes.

On November 5-6, many central provinces, including Quang Binh, Quang Nam, and Thua Thien-Hue, were inundated following heavy downpours.

Meanwhile, Storm Yinxing entered the eastern waters of the northern East Sea this morning, November 8, becoming the seventh storm of the year. It is forecasted to bring torrential rains to the central region.
