The Ho Tram area is some 125 kilometres southeast of HCM city, and its beaches remain relatively untouched despite their great potential for tourism development.

Since 2019, hundreds of real estate projects have been carried out in the town, including big ones such as Ixora Ho Tram, Hyatt Regency Ho Tram, Habana Island, Morito Beach, The Sea Class and Edenia Resort Ho Tram.

Many of these projects still need to be completed.

Construction of the Charm Resort Ho Cham project in Xuyen Moc District started in late 2021 and was scheduled to be finished in the fourth quarter of 2023. However, many villas, drainage systems, and electrical cables still need to be completed.

Meanwhile, each villa in Ho Tram is offered for sale at between VND4 billion (USD161,290) and VND60 billion (USD2.41 million). Meanwhile, the price for each apartment ranges from VND1.5-3 billion.

Several buildings have only built their foundations and are covered by wild grass.

Since 2023, the projects have been halted, which has been blamed for the economic crisis, which has led to financial difficulties as both bank credit channels and corporate bonds have been tightened.
