The railway sector has helped provide free transportation of relief aid to flood-hit localities in the northern region of Vietnam.

According to the Vietnam Railways Corporation, many localities in the northern region of Vietnam have been severely submerged due to the impact of Typhoon Yagi. The railway sector wants to support them.

Organisations and individuals have provided aid via people's committees, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and provincial Red Cross organisations nationwide.

The goods will be taken to Saigon, Song Than, Nha Trang, Danang, Hue, Dong Hoi, Vinh and Thanh Hoa stations.

The firm has also provided contacts at the stations.

Vietnam Airlines, Bamboo Airways and VietJet Air have also offered free transportation of relief aid to flood-ravaged areas.
