Rare python handed over to Hue forest rangers
A man in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue has handed over a rare python weighing 85 kilos to the provincial forest rangers.
The 5.20-metre-long Indian python was handed over by a man from Vy Da Ward in Thua Thien-Hue Province on April 2.
The Hue City Forest Rangers used a team of five people to place the animal into the cage.
After being received, the python will be released into the wild.
The Indian python belongs to Group IIB in the list of endangered, precious and rare animals.
