Low-income workers to get 2025 Tet travel support
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL) has just decided to offer subsidised travel for low-income workers who want to return home during the 2025 Tet Lunar New Year Festival.

According to VGCL, each worker will be given financial support of between VND500,000 and 1,000,000 for their Tet travel.
In addition, 2,000 return train tickets will be offered to workers in some specific provinces and cities. And 400 one-way air tickets will be given to workers in the southern region to reunite with their families in the north.
Buses will also be arranged to transport workers home and back to work for free in some localities.
Vietnam will have a nine-day break for the 2025 Tet Lunar New Year holiday, from January 25 to February 2. The holiday would begin on Saturday, January 25, and conclude on Sunday, February 2. It includes five official days off and two weekends.
