Many streets in Danang submerged
Many streets in the central city of Danang have been seriously flooded following heavy rain since early this morning, September 18.
Many streets Le Duan, Ham Nghi and Hai Phong were hardest hit.
The flooding affected traffic at peak hours, making many vehicles impossible to move.

Lots of people had to move onto pavements to avoid inundation. Rain has also inundated many streets in Ngu Hanh Son and Son Tra districts.
Danang is among localities in the central region of Vietnam that have been warned of being ravaged by a tropical depression which would become a storm on the East Sea today.
The central region of Vietnam is forecasted to see the highest rainfall of 500mm in the days to come.
