Organisations and departments in the area have been asked to fly the national flags at half-mast at their headquarters and offices during the two-day state funeral.

The information was announced by the Vice Chairman of Hanoi City People's Committee, Nguyen Manh Quyen, on Monday.

According to the state funeral committee led by State President To Lam, a tribute service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be organised at the National Funeral House at 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street in Hanoi from 7 am-10 pm on July 25 and from 7 am-1 pm on July 26.

A memorial service will be organised at the National Funeral House at 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street in Hanoi at 1 pm on July 26. And the burial service will be held at 3 pm the same day at Mai Dich Cemetery in Hanoi.

Similar services will also be held at the same time at Thong Nhat Conference Hall in HCM City and at the house of the late party leader in Dong Hoi Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi.
