The coats, which are worth VND92.56 million (USD4,043), are funded by Mitsui Vietnam Ltd. Company. They were provided for students at Hua La Secondary School.
Narukama Hiromitsu, general director of Mitsui Vietnam Ltd. Company, said that he was very happy to grant the coats to the students. He himself had received support from the Vietnamese government and people, particularly since the Covid-19 pandemic happened.

Teacher Quang Van Vui, headmaster of Hua La Secondary School, expressed his great thanks to the donor for the timely gift.
Hua La Secondary School has 16 classes with 449 students who learn at two different sites.
All of the school students are from the Thai ethnic group who mainly live off farming. Many of their families are very poor so they do not have enough warm clothes to wear.
