HUE Art Exhibition – Hope Unfolds through Education

H.U.E – Hope Unfolds through Education celebrates the diversity and richness of art and the power of education in igniting dreams. The exhibition will showcase works by artists Claire Binkley, Ivan Shenevsky, Lam Son Than, P.artspace_, Pham Rong, Richie Fawcett, and Tran Minh Kim Thoai ), professional young artists, and talented students from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts. Notably, the exhibition will also feature inspiring works by children who have been beneficiaries of the Saigon Children’s Charity (saigonchildren) programmes.
The event is a collaborative initiative between saigonchildren, New World Saigon Hotel, and Limitless Contemporary..

The exhibition displays 20 works by artist Le Minh Dai, inspired by nature, energy, or human emotions. He does not name his works because he wants to bring freedom to the viewers’ minds, without imposing or encapsulating their minds in concepts he has created for himself. The audience can experience and feel in their own way and listen to their thoughts and feelings.

Nadege David’s solo exhibition, We Ate The Forest, borrows its title from the 1957 book Nous avons mangé la forêt (We have eaten the forest), which refers to the agricultural practices of Vietnam’s indigenous Mnong people and written by the late anthropologist Georges Condominas. David’s new paintings, situated in our current era of the Anthropocene, thrust us into dense, saturated forests filled with myths and tales that unfold in a world populated with animals and vegetation pulsating with vitality and energy.

Heritage Journey photo contest 2024
An annual photography contest held by Vietnam Airlines inflight Heritage Magazine, will receive entries from April 1 until July 7, 2024.
This year, the contest has four categories of Culture - Heritage; Landscape – Tourist Destination (domestic and international); Lifestyle - Portraits - Moments Vietnam Airlines; and special shooting techniques such as drone, macro, and underwater photography.

Pleiku City, Gia Lai Province- Outdoor display of antique artifacts
Until the end of 2024,
Pleiku City
An outdoor exhibition entitled “Tay Nguyen – Gia Lai Paradise” displaying antique artifacts of local ethnic people.
Highlights of the exhibition are a white elephant bone chair dating back 700 years and a collection of elephant hunting tools dating back more than 100 years of the M'Nong ethnic group.
On display are thousands of antique artifacts of collector Dang Minh Tam, including musical instruments, hunting and weaving tools, ceremonial objects, jewelry items and other items in the life of ethnic groups in the five Central Highlands provinces.
