Vietnam to compete at world muay thai championships

Vietnamese athletes will take part in the 2010 World Muay Thai Championships, scheduled to be held in Bangkok from March 18-25.

Vietnamese athletes will take part in the 2010 World Muay Thai Championships, scheduled to be held in Bangkok from March 18-25.

According to Giap Trung Thang, Head of Ho Chi Minh City Muay Department, Vietnam will join the tournament with the participation of outstanding athletes such as 3rd Asian Indoor Games gold medalist Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City, men's 57kg category), 25th SEA Games gold medalist Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai (An Giang, women's 51kg category) and SEA Games silver medalist Pham Thi Ngoc Linh (Ho Chi Minh City, women's 54kg category).
