Youngsters impressed the audience with their "hot" dance moves on a hot summer night during the final round of “Buoc nhay xi tin” (Stylish Dance Steps).
The competition, for the northern region, took place in Hanoi on August 28.
The group "Lazy Kids" especially astonished the audience with a unique hip-hop performance which involved several props, such as large buckets and brooms.
LodKidz from Hanoi also performed with humour and a youthful style.
19 other individuals and groups performed, making it a thrilling night.
In the end, however, 14 year-old Nguyen To Linh, of Haiphong, won the hearts of the 3,000 member audience, as well as the judges, and beat out 5 groups to win first prize and entrance into the final round.
Buoc Nhay Xi Tin is an annual dance contest for people aged from 10-25. The national final round will be held on September 24.
