Super Junior performs at MTV EXIT Live concert in Vietnam

Korean boy band Super Junior performed several songs at the MTV EXIT Live concert at My-Dinh Stadium in Hanoi.

Korean boy band Super Junior performed several songs at the MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking) Live concert at My-Dinh Stadium in Hanoi, Vietnam on March 27.

The concert kicked off the tour, which aimed at raising awareness on the fight against human trafficking. Super Junior was the only Korean artist invited to grace the concert.

Hundreds of Super Junior fans waited at the Noi Bai International Airport to welcome the boy band on March 27. Many were also at the airport as early as Tuesday night, just to get a glimpse of the group.

Super Junior sang “Happiness,” “It’s You,” “Sorry Sorry” and “Rokkugo” to the delight of thousands of fans who held sapphire blue light sticks while they performed.

The MTV EXIT Live concert was produced by MTV Europe Foundation together with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID).

Besides Super Junior, Australian singer Kate Miller-Heidke also performed along with Vietnamese stars Ha Anh Tuan, Anh Khoa, Phuong Vy, Hoang Hai, Luu Huong Giang and Big Toe.

According to MTV EXIT, three more concerts will be held in Vietnam that will feature local artists. The next will be on April 3 at Ha Long Bay. On April 10, the MTV EXIT Live concert will be held at Can Tho Sports Center and the last will be on April 27 at QK7 Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City where pop band The Click Five will perform.

It said the concert tour will be used as part of a series of TV programs by MTV Exit which will be aired in Vietnam.
