"Dancing with the Stars", the popular television show that brings celebrities to the dance floor is making its way to Vietnam. Audiences all over the country will be able to see Doan Trang, Ngo Thanh Van, Siu Black, Hoang Diep, Tien Doan, Quang Vinh, Luong Manh Hai and Minh Beo showoff their dancing abilities on the television screen.

The show's format, originated from a famous British TV series, is owned by the BBC channel. The show has created a frenzy with audiences worldwide, was voted the most popular TV programme among all genres from 2006 - 2007, and has remained in the Top 10 in 17 countries.
"Dancing with the Stars" will be known to the Vietnamese audience under the name "Buoc Nhay Hoan Vu". The show, organised by Vietnam Television, will hit the air on April 11.
The programme will air 8 live shows from April to mid June with the participation of 8 European professional dancers and the 8 Vietnamese celebrities mentioned above.
Each week, contestants work in pairs, one dancer with one Vietnamese celebrity, and perform Ballroom or Latin dance. Starting from the second week, the couple with the lowest score is eliminated from the show. The panel of judges only contribute 50% to the total score, the other 50% of the scores will be decided by the audience.
The judges of the show include two famous sport dancers Khanh Thi and Tri Anh, directors Le Hoang and Nguyen Quang Dung, along with MC Thanh Bach being the much anticipated show's host.
Actress and singer Ngo Thanh Van will participate on the show.
