An abandoned newborn baby is getting better and there have been many inquiries made about adopting this unfortunate child.
The child was discovered near-death in a bathroom of the Bay Chai bus station and has miraculously recovered after nearly 5 days in the hospital. More and more people have been visiting the baby in hopes of adopting him. Right now, he is being referred to as "Abandon".

Nguyen Thi Ngot, head of the pediatric ward of Bai Chay General Hospital told us, “Abandon is fed with milk and also by some kind mothers in the hospital. Now the little baby is in very good shape and taken care of by nurses.”
“Blood tests results show that both HIV and hepatitis are negative.” added Ngot.
Many people came to see the abandoned baby and gave him some gifts such as clothes, napkins, milk…
“The baby will be discharged in the next few days. Many people want to adopt him but we are worried because we do not know to whom we should give the baby,” added Ngot

Among the many people who want to adopt the child, there is one couple that has been unable to have a child despite trying for 20 years.
Ta Huu Trung who took the abandoned baby to the hospital also wants to adopt because he thinks that it was destiny although he already has a 3 year old daughter.
“We have reported to leaders of the hospital and local authorities to complete the legal procedure and provide a birth certificate for the child.” added Ngot.
