Over the past weekend, crowds flocked to Hang Ma Street to capture Halloween moments.
Halloween decorations like pumpkins, cloaks and masks were showcased in abundance.
Halloween horror decorations are sold for between several hundred thousand and tens of millions of Vietnam Dong. To meet the demand for festive decorations, a large quantity of Halloween goods is being sold to cafes, bars, pubs, hotels, and restaurants.
The owner of a business on Hang Ma Street said sales this year have seemed to be slower than in previous years, but creepy and spooky-themed products have still lured customers.
Hang Ma Street is a favourite check-in spot for young people during Halloween. Que Lam from Long Bien District said that she usually comes to Hang Ma Street every Halloween with her mother and younger brother, making it a cherished family tradition.
Xuan, from the northern mountainous province of Cao Bang, took her daughter to the street to enjoy the Halloween atmosphere.
Many foreign tourists also visit the street.
Shops on Hang Ma Street sell celebrity masks, including those of football players Ronaldo, Messi, Mbappe, and actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Each mask costs around VND30,000 (USD1.18).
