The projet focuses on upgrading pavements and pedestrian paths within the flower gardens surrounding Thien Quang Lake.
Once completed, the project will link the flower gardens, paths around the lake and Thong Nhat Park into a cohesive pedestrian space.
Authorities in Hanoi's Hai Ba Trung District are also seeking public opinions on a plan to build five public squares around Thien Quang Lake.
Vu Hy Chuong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nguyen Du Ward, believed that the scheme will make the area around Thien Quang Lake more attractive by creating a place for visitors and locals to enjoy.
