Vietnam ranks third in Southeast Asian swim champs

Vietnam ranked third at the Southeast Asian Age Group Swimming Championships, bringing home 14 golds, 11 silvers, and 12 bronzes.

Vietnam ranked third at the Southeast Asian Age Group Swimming Championships that wrapped up in central coastal Danang City on June 12, bringing home 14 golds, 11 silvers, and 12 bronzes.

The Thai swimmers took the championship title with 48 golds and their runner-up was Singapore with 14 golds and 21 silvers.

The three-day event attracted nearly 300 swimmers from Brunei, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The competitors divided into three age groups, U-12s, 13-14 and 15-17, competing for 122 sets of medals.
