Three fishermen are missing after their boat was struck by strong waves this morning off the coast of the central city of Danang.
The fishermen, Bui Anh Tuan, Le Van Sang and Nguyen Dung were from a fishing vessel based in the central province of Binh Dinh.
Rescue forces in Binh Dinh Province are calling on fishing boats to join the search for the fishermen who went missing around 337 nautical miles offshore.
According to the initial information, the vessel was struck by strong winds and waves early on the morning of December 28. Three fishermen were thrown into the sea.
Three other fishing boats from Binh Dinh which operated near the vessel have joined the search, however, they have not yet found the fishermen.
