Members of the two clubs, \'Leading the Future\' and \'IHanoi\', will present a photography exhibition entitled ‘Millennial Essence’ at 36 Dien Bien Phu street in Hanoi from November 19 to 23.The exhibition will display 100 photos capturing different views of Hanoi in the past and present through the lenses of young people who have passion for photography and the city. The pictures also reflect the hopes of the people for a more prosperous Hanoi in the future.
On the opening day, the ‘Leading the Future’ club will launch its official website, Leadingthefuture.vn and a photography contest entitled ‘Hanoi in the Eyes of You and Me’. Visitors can enjoy traditional arts performances, folk games, calligraphy, and paintings of Hanoi by artist Vu Khanh during the four day exhibition. Young people will also have chance to attend a seminar called ‘What Have You Done to Preserve Hanoi’s Culture?’ with the participation of artists and ‘Hanoiologists’.
A map of Vietnam, made of 1,000 small photos will be auctioned to raise funds for the flood victims in the central region.
