According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, the humid weather in the north would last until February 7. From February 8, the weather will turn cold.

A cold front has been forecasted to affect northern localities during the Lunar New Year.
During Tet, the lowest temperatures in the northern region would be between 13-16 degrees centigrade. Mountainous areas will see the temperatures of between 10-13 degrees centigrade.
Meanwhile, central localities from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien-Hue would have temperatures of between 19-29 degrees centigrade on February 8-12.
The Central Highlands and southern regions would be sunny and light rain. The temperature in some southern areas would be more than 35 degrees centigrade.
