Delegates at the meeting of the 2010 National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee on September 16 gave their opinions on the draft law that amends and supplements a number of articles included the Law on Securities.
They stressed on the need to increase the States management to minimise fraud in the stock market and deal with violations in securities trading to create a healthy and transparent business environment.
Some participants at the meeting, which was chaired by NA Deputy Chairman Nguyen Duc Kien, said that the draft law should also mention the necessary procedures and conditions to establish stock companies and fund management companies.
They raised concerns about recent securities transactions, saying that it is essential to ensure transparency in the domestic stock market and to protect the rights of investors.
