Vietnam’s Truong Tung Lan on Saturday finished in the top 15 at the 38th Miss Asia Pacific International in Seoul, Korea.
The winner comes from the host country and the first and second runner-ups are from France and Russia respectively.
Lan, a graduate from Hanoi Open University, is a model and an MC, and is also training to become an actor at Vietnam Television’s Film Centre.
Last year, she won Miss Ha Long and finished in the top 10 at Miss Vietnam.
First held in 1968, Miss Asia Pacific International is the oldest beauty pageant in Asia.
This year’s contest attracted 70 contestants.
In 2005, Vietnam’s Ngo Mai Trang also finished in the top 15.
