Five men questioned by police for comedy ISIS video

Nguyen Thanh N., born in 1994, set up the Monster NTN group to earn ad revenue from the Internet via prank video clips. In October, he watched the clip in which pranksters dressed as stereotypical Arabs and threw fake bombs into public areas. He thought about using this idea for pranks in Vietnam.

On October 31 and November 1, the group completed 11 shoots directed by N.

A member wore white outfit and covered his face with scarf while two other members pretended to be passers-by. N. also hired other people for VND50,000 (USD2) per person to be extras.

However, when the clip was uploaded on YouTube on November 6 and shared on Facebook, it received criticism.

Hanoi Police Department's hi-tech crimes division (PC50) is still investigating the case. Lieutenant Colonel Ha Thi Hang, deputy head of the PC50, said the clip had scared people and supposedly affected the country's security.
