The forest in Mo Rai Commune in Sa Thay District is managed by Sa Thay Forest Management Ltd. Company.

Deforestation remains rampant in Kon Tum - 1

Around 145 cubic metres of wood, including many valuable kinds, have been illegally logged and transported out of the forest.

There is only one road leading to the forest. The road travels through two to three forest protection stations, but the rangers claimed to have failed to detect violations.
