Chairmen of Danang and HCM City have ordered state officials to not play Pokemon Go at workplaces.
The order was announced on August 29 by Danang Chairman Huynh Duc Tho. He also asked communication agencies to raise public awareness about not playing while driving, at dangerous locations including railways, highways, rivers or dangerous mountainous terrain.

Players are also banned from playing at state agencies, military or other secured areas. Danang’s authorities have also gone even further and asked its officials to not use the email address for work to discuss about the game.
Following Danang, the authorities of HCM City has also issued document that ban officials from playing Pokemon Go during work hours or at workplaces.

Playing at Tao Dan Park
The Department of Information and Communication was asked to monitor the pros and cons of the game and report to the city people's committee. In order to prevent unwanted accidents, the city installed 44 traffic signs warning drivers not to play Pokemon Go.
Pokemon Go has attracted thousands of players after arriving in Vietnam in August. Pokemon and Pokestops have appeared mostly at Tao Dan Park as well as other districts in the city central so a large number of players often gather at the park up to 2am to catch the Pokemon characters.
