Every year, at the beginning of the rainy season, Da Lat City and the districts of Lac Duong, Don Duong and Duc Trong in Lam Dong are often hit by hail. However, the storm on Sunday was maybe the largest ever.

On Sunday, hail also occurred in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue’s A Luoi District. The storm ruined a large area of crops in the two communes of Huong Lam and Dong Son.

On the same day, some areas in Mai Son Districts’ Chieng Sung Commune faced hail, causing some local houses and crops to be damaged.
