The road starts from Giao Thien Commune in Giao Thuy District, runs through Hai Hau District and ends at Nghia Hai Commune in Nghia Hung District.
Roughly 90 percent of the project has been finished after three years of construction. The road signage and safety barriers on the entire road are being installed.
Once put into use, the route will help shorten the distance between Nam Dinh and other localities.
Concrete guardrail posts are around a metre high.
The road has many intersections with residential areas.
