The TNG building at 54 Nguyen Chi Thanh, Doji Tower at 5 Le Duan, Hoang Huy at 275 Nguyen Trai, Euro Window at 2 Ton That Tung and Sun Grand City at 3 Luong Yen were all lit with a pink ribbon.

In HCM City, breast cancer awareness symbol could be seen at Vincom Landmark 81.

Nguyen Thi Xuyen, head of Vietnam Medical Association and the Bright Future Fund, said, "This event is hoped to attract public attention and raise awareness about breast cancer prevention."

The media campaign to have early breast cancer screening and the sending text messages to donate to cancer victims campaign was launched on October 18.

The media campaign to have early breast cancer screening was initiated and carried out by Bright Future Fund since 2013. This year, early screenings for breast cancer were launched in Hanoi since October 18 and will be launched in HCM City from October 25.

The Bright Future Fund will collaborate with the hospitals to give free check-ups, including clinical examinations and breast ultrasound for an estimated 5,000 women from Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Ha Nam, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh and HCM City.

The campaign will end on November 15.
