According to the Department of Dyke Management and Flood, Storm Control under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the country faced a tropical depression, 16 heavy rainstorms causing floods, flash floods, and landslides, 120 whirlwinds and hailstorms and two severe cold spells between January and June 19.
